Whether you are having a 21st or a 60th Birthday Party, hire Rubber Soul to fill the dancefloor with all ages, all night. If you grew up in the 1960s and 1970s, you'll have grown up in the golden age of soul - Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Curtis Mayfield amongst others. We're currently playing at a lot of 50th and 60th birthday parties for the teenagers and twenty-somethings of that time!
At the same time, in today's musical world, soul, disco and funk are still classic floor fillers for the younger generations today. For the time-being, soul is one of the only types of music that bridges the generations.
10 Years Providing Live Party Music
We can provide a live 9-piece soul band for any type of private party. Birthday Parties (surprise or otherwise!), Christmas Parties, "End-of" Parties - we've played them all.
Because we have a great deal of experience
in providing music for the public, we pride ourselves on working
directly with our clients to make sure they get exactly
what they want out of us. We're a Soul Band, a Funk Band, a Rock'n'Roll Band and even a Jazz Band courtesy of our excellent quartet - all rolled into one. We've even used our 10-years experience to come up with a collection of useful articles to enable you to hire musicians or bands for a party armed with insider knowledge. The articles are written with weddings in mind, but you can apply exactly the same principles to other types of private parties.
With Rubber Soul, all timings, set lengths
and ensemble variations are tailored to suit exactly what
is in the client's mind - making sure that the setting
up of equipment and sound checking are done as discreetly
as possible and that we are available not only for the evening,
but also on hand at the venue during the
day.
We're happy to allow for our PA
to be used for playing your own music for other sections of the day and we have been
