Although Rubber Soul is a 9 piece function band, we are frequently asked to enhance functions by providing variations of the group.

This allows us to tailor-make the music to your exact specifications: A solo cocktail pianist for your drinks reception all the way up to a Jazz Quintet for your sit-down meal.

Playing Jazz Standards from Duke Ellington to Herbie Hancock, the Quartet provides a sophisticated atmosphere for any function. Examples of their recent work in a Marquee at a wedding can be heard on our MP3 Downloads Page.

A Solo Cocktail pianist can also help create that atmosphere if you're on a tight budget and we can help with that too.

The Trad Train Traditional Jazz Quintet

We're delighted to be able to offer you this new Traditional Jazz option courtesy of our friends The Trad Train. This brilliant group of players can add a classic touch of sophistication to any party or drinks reception. They're also great for adding an upbeat flavour to a wedding breakfast or any other meal that you're considering for your event. Remember that the Trad Train are an acoustic band, so may be suited to smaller venues and outside venues in particular.
